Every Day a Friday: How to Be Happier 7 Days a Week is an amazing book by Joel Osteen
After reading this book I felt elevated in amazing ways never thought possible. Pastor Joels writing style is uplifting to say the least. He really knows how to relay everyday life type situations and correlate them to what we may be going through in our own lives. In this book he is really saying try and keep everyday lite and happy as if it is a Friday.
There are some chapters that really have you cracking up. A particular incident when he was traveling and a gets locked out of his hotel room really cracked me up. I could see that happening to me and it was interesting to hear how he got back in his room. He keeps it so real and fresh it just warms the soul to hear it.
Some Christian based books really just want to preach to you. Well this book is far from that as he really relates to everyday people and how to live your life at a happier more God connected level. It doesn’t have to be complicated. Put God first and watch him do the rest.
I think more then anything Joel is saying more then anything don’t let the Devil drag you down with loneliness and unhappiness. Be happy and honor God and the Enemy will run from you. I Like the part in the book where Joel started laughing at Victoria after he accidentally startled Victoria, and instead of getting mad at Joel she joined in and they all got a kick out of it. Now could of this gone badly? Yes. But they both get it and know the importance of keeping it happy and there home filled with laughter.
I think we all could take lessons from what Joel is teaching us here. When we begin to live life and feel better inside things start to change for us in amazing awesome ways. Live a happy life everyday. Don’t let the Nay Sayers drag you down. Keep the faith and don’t give up. You will eventually shine through and keep on shining the rest of your life.
Happy days are ahead you can get Joels Book Every Day a Friday in our bookstore. He has many other interesting titles as well. I have read some of them and will review them as I get a change.
Have a Blessed Day.
