A PureFlix production that starts believable with a big town doctor played by Candace Cameron Bure and the judge cal doc played by Lou Betty Jr. This movie is humorous almost from the beginning as the doctor is stuck in a small town rural America in need of a doctor after traffic violations.

The movies plot seems vaguely familiar to a tv show set in Alaska a few years ago. The movie was slow to introduce God and the fact that he is a huge part of this small community’s world but that’s ok as it builds in a believable way.

The local auto mechanic entry and repetitive introduction into every scene was somewhat annoying but I a sure is necessarily to build the plot line.

The movie becomes more interesting as the days movies towards Sunday and the doctor is invited to church as the local eatery is closed. The doctor looks genuinely excited to be there and seems a believable change of.

John 10:10

The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.

With the analogy of a pecan tree needing pruning or it dies. Sometimes we have to cut out the parts of our lives that drag us down delivered by Doc who turns out to be the town’s Minister, is the running theme for the Sunday morning service and it is all important message. As the doctor mends fences that she initially burned, it leads to one very touching scene where she saves a little girl’s life as you know here being there was from God.

Not giving away the movie but Doc asks Doc Lisa to stay and her initial reaction is expected but you can a change is in the wind as here reactions start to soften. Things start to get a little predictable but it definitely changes enough to make it interesting and is really a great story line.

Doc Lisa boyfriend shows up in town and make for a interesting scene as you can clearly see the good doctor is torn as the her future looks on. He asks her it becomes more and more involved and not to give it all away. This turn of events defiantly thickens the plot as the town clearly doesn’t want her to leave.

One particular legal fight over a cross on public land is a great addition and could be played out in and town USA as some try and remove God from everything. I pray the God steps and intervenes in these types of battles and the most high name remains in all things of this world.

Legal twists and unexpected plot changes and one scene in particular of fireflies or lightning bug as know in the south, hovering over a lake is absolutely beautiful well done PureFlix!

I really hope and pray movies like this continue to do well with its wholesomeness and well meaning. This movies as of the writing in November 2015 can be found on Netflix.

Have a Blessed Day,

Beth More makes a brief but memorable appearance and is impact-full as usual.

This movies gets 5 angels absolutely with a great story line mixed with salvation, humor and grace.

This is a must see if your a Christian or not it will show you God in an amazing whole new light.

The writers hold your attention practically in every scene with deep emotions of Love, fear, betrayal rarely seen and orchestrated so well in a Christian based film.

While this movie does get a bit long in the tooth but never prictitable. Its refreshing at every turn.

It’s so nice to see Christian films becoming main stream and Glorifying God in amazingly awesome ways.

This movie is very believable as it shows real life situations that could actually happen. This helps Christianity in many ways as it will help lead many to have hope and joy that Jesus brings when we learn to follow him.

The premise of the film centers around a family that is struggling with work and infidelity & attacks from the enemy. But when God steps in its absolutely transformational!

When you combine the power of prayer warriors and family values it’s God’s amazing Grace that shines through.

One part where a Pastor of many years immediately recognizes a prayer room that had been empty for some time, was absolutely a Godly touch that I am sure reached many.

Great job Sony and the producers of this film and know that God will Bless you for it. Incredible movie and keep up the awesome work!
