Be faithful not hateful.

Have you ever had someone in your life and all they like to do is hate and find the negative side of things? Why do you think people have a tendency to live on that side of life?
I know at times when we are being faithful to God and trying to do our very best it can feel like its easier to start complaining about things and criticizing others around us but this is not Gods intent for our lives,
He wants us to be happy and live a life free from hate and anger and other things that may have a tendency to hold us back from living an elevated existence.
I know when I am around negative people I try and keep the conversation moving in a direction of staying positive and how we might do something better in the future rather then how bad it was in the past.
When we are able to effectively keep people and conversions in our world in a positive light we start to see a change around us as our world starts to get brighter and brighter.
I know there was a time when in my own life where I had a tendency to quickly criticize others or speak negative about someone before even really knowing them. I know when I found the Lord and learned theses principals of not hating but be faithful and positive and caring instead my life started to change in a awesome way.
A friend of ours not to long ago was starting to get on the negative side of things after waiting for several months for a career change and it was becoming hard for him to be faithful at some-point. We had a talk with him about staying positive through the waiting period and praying about it and it seemed to help tremendously.
Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.
I think this verse really says it all, to think and keep your thoughts on the positive and try not to dwell on the negative as that will only have a tendency to bring you in to a negative thought process that continues down from there.
Try not to drink the hater-aide is one saying we like to use at our church and its catchy and it really does serve as a great reminder not to get caught on the hateful side of life but stay positive and keep God on your side at all times.
Be faithful not hateful
Is it always easy? No it is not, as I struggle with staying positive but
when I remind my self and others remind me too, it becomes a regular way of thinking.
Stay positive and faithful as a daily routine and you will start to see your world change for the better as amazing doors open up to us.
Have a Blessed Day,
