Be Faithful not Hateful

Be faithful not hateful.

Have you ever had someone in your life and all they like to do is hate and find the negative side of things? Why do you think people have a tendency to live on that side of life?

I know at times when we are being faithful to God and trying to do our very best it can feel like its easier to start complaining about things and criticizing others around us but this is not Gods intent for our lives,

He wants us to be happy and live a life free from hate and anger and other things that may have a tendency to hold us back from living an elevated existence.

I know when I am around negative people I try and keep the conversation moving in a direction of staying positive and how we might do something better in the future rather then how bad it was in the past.

When we are able to effectively keep people and conversions in our world in a positive light we start to see a change around us as our world starts to get brighter and brighter.

I know there was a time when in my own life where I had a tendency to quickly criticize others or speak negative about someone before even really knowing them. I know when I found the Lord and learned theses principals of not hating but be faithful and positive and caring instead my life started to change in a awesome way.

A friend of ours not to long ago was starting to get on the negative side of things after waiting for several months for a career change and it was becoming hard for him to be faithful at some-point. We had a talk with him about staying positive through the waiting period and praying about it and it seemed to help tremendously.

Philippians 4:8
Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.

I think this verse really says it all, to think and keep your thoughts on the positive and try not to dwell on the negative as that will only have a tendency to bring you in to a negative thought process that continues down from there.

Try not to drink the hater-aide is one saying we like to use at our church and its catchy and it really does serve as a great reminder not to get caught on the hateful side of life but stay positive and keep God on your side at all times.

Be faithful not hateful

Is it always easy? No it is not, as I struggle with staying positive but

Be Faithful not Hateful
Be Faithful not Hateful

when I remind my self and others remind me too, it becomes a regular way of thinking.

Stay positive and faithful as a daily routine and you will start to see your world change for the better as amazing doors open up to us.

Have a Blessed Day,
Bradley Paul

Power of being called to serve God

Power of being called to serve God

You have to be ready when called to serve God, and it’s not necessarily easy once you are!

Get ready to step up to the plate, get ready for a change, get ready for God to work through you too better other people.

When you step out for God it’s worth every step but know your life will change in amazing ways that we just don’t understand yet but be willing to help God and always have a positive attitude and watch what he does.

I know there was a time when a coworker of mine was feeling very low as he had fallen away from the church and was not necessarily living his life for God any more. God was able to work though me to invite him to church an get him plugged back into the Lord.

Its am amazing feeling to be utilized by God in this way. When we open up out hearts and mind to the Lord and allow him to flow thru, he is able to effect change not only in our world but others around us too.

When we try and step out of our comfort zone and ask the Lord how can we serve you and how can we reach out to others he starts to revel parts of his plan to us but be ready as it could happen quickly.

Philippians 2:13
For it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.

I know recently we were able to positively effect other people lives around us by providing both food & shelter and weekly transportation to and from church as we God is working in many lives for his Kingdom.

Is it always easy? No. But is it worth it? Yes very much so! If we simply are willing to look around on our own little world we can see those who are in need of Gods word.

We were originally looking at doing outreach to distant areas which and we do financially support the Watoto ministries in Africa, we realized the need in our own area and how many people are hurting and just need help either starting their lives our putting it back to together.

Power of being called to serve God
Stay the course and don’t give and ask God to show you how you can serve his kingdom with your 1% you have inside of you that others can benefit from.

You ask what do you mean my 1%? Well what I am trying to say is

that it doesn’t really require allot of money to help people, it really comes from within and with Gods help and your willingness to share your time and talent and yes at times treasure to help others.

In other words you r 1% is that one thing you bring into a room and

Power of being called to serve God

you do slightly better then any one else and your able to use that to help others live a better life.

So ask God how you can best serve him and get started today.

Have a Blessed Day,
