There’s A Reason For Your Season! Introducing- Minister Darryl Dillard
In case you’re wondering or asking yourself why you’re going through so many storms, strains, and setbacks (there is a reason why the adversity in your life is so overwhelming).  You are not the first to face the forecast of your fears and frustrations, but you are being prepared for something that you are not ready for – at this point and season in your life.  If you received all that you wished and hoped for (in life); the weight of your desires would be more than you could handle to sustain the ability to maintain the level and standard of your wishes. It is the pressure, pain, and problems that equipt, emancipate, and empower us toward our destiny. One illustration I’d like to share concerns the life of Abraham and his experience (good, bad, and ugly) Minister Darryl Dillardthat prepared him for all that God had in store for him
Abraham is known as the First Great Patriarch of Ancient Israel, the primary model of Christianity, and the Father of Faith. He is presented as the supreme model and prime example of the faith required for the Christian believer.  One issue that has been overlooked concerning the life of Abraham are the seasons of struggles, situations, and set-backs that he experienced and e

ncountered.  Genesis 11:27 -32 records 3 issues that Abraham faced before his pilgrimage from his native land (Ur of the Chaldeans) to Haran and to Canaan.

These were the challenges that he faced:
1.    Abraham’s brother (Haran) died in the land of their nativity
2.    Abraham’s wife (Sarai) was barren (which was seen as a curse or punishment from God)
3.    Abraham’s father died before beginning his pilgrimage.
Even though Abraham overcame obstacles that you and I dream of and he received rewards and awards that we can only imagine, but he had his share of trial, troubles, and tribulations.  I assure you that you will press, pass, and push through all of the hurdles, hang-ups and headaches in your life because I John 4:4 says, “Greater is he that is in thee (you) , than he that is in the world.
Also Psalms 1:1-3  says, “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the council of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful, but his delight is in the law of the Lord and in his Law doth he meditate both day and night and he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water that bringeth forth his fruit in its season.  His leaf, also, shall not wither and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
When you are going through persecution, problems, and pitfalls – remember Matthew 5:11-12: “Blessed are ye when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.  REJOICE AND BE EXCEEDING GLAD; for great is your reward in Heaven; for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

Son of God Movie

Son of God movie we saw last night is awesome and life changing and absolutely the best movie I have seen in along time.

It is from the maker of the Bible series that was on TV not to long ago. As some of the scenes looked similar. Wondering if it

Son of God

was all shot at the same time?

Some of the take ways of the movie is how strong Peter was even after he denied Jesus 3 times and he still was strong for Jesus as and ended up being a strong leader of the church as we knew it today.

Jesus in this movie was simply awesome as he performed several miracles and as they were betrayed in the movies as the women he rose his brother Lazarus from the dead which that scene was amazing and struck a real cord with me as the word completely spread from that point all the way to the powers to be.

Many times in our lives we have a chance to deny Jesus but if we are strong our faith and know only true happiness and life comes through God, we will never deny him and stay strong in the word and reach out and help others as we saw in the Son of God.

The other part of the movie that was a real testament to our Lord is how he simply offered grace to his tortures and by praying to God please forgive them as they know not what they do. The filmmakers really captured this part well as the look on they face of the Roman soldiers really said it all as Jesus forgave them for the torture.

Corinthians 5:15 says – And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.
Jesus wants us to live a Blessing to your enemy as well as others as that is the message of God to be a Blessing especially to the household of faith. I think this is really saying to walk as Jesus did and keep our eyes open for Blessings we can do for people as we really learn to live a Christ centered life and not focus on ourselves but focus on others as well.

In the movie when Jesus was in the Garden Yosemite and knew the authorities were coming to get him and he said that his flesh was weak but spirit strong. Isn’t that how we get in life and simply have to pray to God for strength and happiness.

I know many times I have felt weak in my walk as negative waves start to hit me and I have to dig deep and remember that we need to start our day off with prayer and get our Armour on to defend against the weakness of flesh. Be like Jesus and pray and be happy and have a blessed awesome life.

Have a Blessed Day,

Bradley Paul
